Menu For Edible Bonsai

Many cheap but delicious foods may be made from bonsai.
It is so soon to step into autumn in Canada from summer. The weather becomes cool and dry gradually. The cold air bring dry and hot feeling to our lung, hurt the body fluid, that is negative for metabolism, which helps break the body balance. Many friends catch cold and get a fever in autumn and cause coughing afterward. Instead of taking pills, what can we do to improve our body immune system to keep far away from getting sick? There are many ways to keep health. My favorite way is to build health from changing a little bit of the daily menu, having proper food in daily life may help to build a healthy body. It is good feeling to find some ingredients just from your bonsai in your room with fresh and good quality.

·          Green tea with chrysanthemum flowers

There are many foods that help to keep body balance; chrysanthemum is one of these foods. Chrysanthemum tea helps to release high blood pressure, and other chronic diseases, that contribute to improve the immune system.

Autumn is a harvest season, which means everyone is busy. It won’t take a long time to prepare this beverage. Just put 4-6 pieces of chrysanthemum flower into the cup of boiled water (about 400ml) with 5-8 pieces of medlar. Since the water is still warm, put your face above the steam, the steam helps to brighter eyes and silk smooth skin.

A cup of green tea with several chrysanthemum flowers and 5-8 pieces of medlar helps to protect the eyes, and make lung and liver work well.

·          Osmanthus coconut cake

This cake is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants which are essentials in promoting human metabolism. This osmanthus aroma dessert is very popular in south China.
