Experiences Of Watering Office Bonsai

Plant absorbs moisture and nutrients in the water via the root. The trunk and branches transfer water from root to leaves. So water becomes critical to the plant growth process with any size of bonsai. I have learned a lot from experiences with years.

There is no standard of watering quantity; all should depend on the plant habit, plant size, the season and temperature as well. There are many sizes of plant pots: big, small, deep and shallow bonsai pot. Different size pot has variety water holding capability.

Generally, less water should be provided with large pot in deep size, due to the large soil holder with more water inside. Small plant pot prefers comparative more water, because there is less soil helps to keep moisture
